Do you have a yearbook for 1987? Tawny is looking for a fairly clean copy in relatively good shape that we can borrow for making a CD. A number of people have reserved a 1987 yearbook on CD; we just need a hardcopy to send to the company that makes the CDs. (The company removes your personal messages from the CD copy.)
The GHS Football Booster Club has a GHS Football Lettermen’s Club. Calling all former players!!
Have you lost your yearbooks to flood, fire, moving, etc.? Did you get the yearbook for your senior year only and now wish you had yearbooks for the other years? We have negotiated with a company to have Grissom yearbooks placed on CD! The reservation form broke when we moved to a new server. I think we got the bugs out and it should be operational very soon.
Note from Beth Ezell (Class of ‘77):
One of my classmates (and best friend) has been diagnosed
with a rare form of cancer and a prognosis of less than a year to live. I
am hoping to contact many of our classmates to ask them to send her a card or
note. The name of the classmate is Martha Wright Cornelius. If people
contact me at ezell5@charter.net,
I will tell them how to get in contact with Martha.
An alumni association is forming for alumni of Camp Cha-La-Kee, many of whom attended Grissom. Please contact Irene Wisner or the SE YMCA.
